Britney Spears will kick off the MTV Video Music Awards ceremony on Sunday. Britney is said to be excited and so are her numerous fans and critics. Let’s hope this time Britney will redeem herself from her previous disaster performance from said awards show. Although it is unlikely that she will do a musical number, at least let her be stunning and gorgeous and not out of it when she does what she’s supposed to do at the opening of the awards night. She’s nominated for three (3) awards this time, Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, and Video of the Year.
"MTV has long played an important role in my career. How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs?" Spears tells PEOPLE in a statement. "I'm excited to open the entire show, to say hi to my fans and to be nominated."
