Brothers Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers band are in the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. The purity ring wearing brothers want us to see them as a real band. And me wants to know if they are really as pure as they say they are. Girls everywhere are sure to want to get a hold of this particular issue of Rolling Stone which comes out July 25. Middle child Joe, who resembles a prettier version of the actor Peter Gallagher, is the quieter Jonas, with a wild alter ego revealed onstage, where he swivels his hips and twirls a mike stand like a lightsaber. "I'm really inspired by Mick Jagger and Freddie Mercury — the big frontmen," he says. "I heard Jagger does an hour on a treadmill before every show."
Nick says he'd like to do a Jonas-Cash tribute album. "We could call it, Jonas Brothers Pay Tribute to the Man in Black," he says.
"There was a point in our lives when we were very close," Nick says softly of the Miley rumors. "We were neighbors when we were on tour together. It was good. Just really close. But it would crack me up — I would read these stories online, people saying things that were completely untrue."

What the FUCK are the Jonas Brothers doing on the cover of Rolling Stone? When are we going to quit recognizing pop icons and start recognizing REAL MUSICIANS?!?! I never thought I'd live to see the day...well I guess I'm in for it since I'm only 23. But seriously. What the FUCK?

Jonas Brothers are real musicians. They get up on stage and play the guitar, drums, piano. They write thier own music and have cds. If you don't call that a "real musician", what is? What makes them spererate from boy bands is the fact they actually play music and don't just get up on stage and dance around.
They are the best thing that has ever happened!

to be a "real musician" your fan base should consist of more than girls between the ages of 11-19 and your lyrics and instrumental playing should be less predictable so when someone who's never heard one of your songs can't guess what your gonna say next. there not real musicians because their fans only like them because they're so "hawt" and when you look at them closely they're not that extremely good-looking as some people think. in about 2 years everyone will forget about them.
bands like led zeppelin or death cab for cutie have a diverse fan group which has guys and girls, young and old. there lyrics are original and they bring something different to the table. they should be on the rolling stones cover not the jonas brothers.
Im a fourteen year old girl and even i can tell their songs kinda suck so why cant rolling stones. i do have to give props to nick for bringing more awareness to diabetes. so i dont completely dislike them just most of their songs.
Amen sister. Whoever raised you definitely did it right. And Led Zeppelin and Death Cab references? High five for that one. I mean you basically took the words right out of my brain about this whole ordeal. You are going to go far in life.
The Jonas Bros are fakes and not real musicians. They have a band playing the music. They just jump around on stage like their playing. I saw once when they play on some float at Disney World that the guitars weren't even plugged in, it was all lip sung. They are fake and not good musicians just pop posers.
The Jonas brothers are really musicians, nick writes all their songs and they do play their instruments. Their fans are mostly young because they became popular through Disney, but that doesn't mean they aren't real musicians. They are very talented and rolling stone made a good choice, if I were to ask one of you people what a really musician was you would probably give an example who doesn't consist of a good influence. The Jonas brothers are humble and aware of their surroundings, I am also a type one diabetic and I appreciate evrything they do for the cause. Once they get older, they will gain even more respect for their talents.
If you have time to screw over the Jonas brothers, then think of how much time you waste. Do something better with your lives. Atleast I'm a fanatic.
