Scarlett Johansson graces the cover and pages of Nylon Magazine June/July 2008 issue. Scarlett on the cover is not your usually hot and sexy Scarlett the actress, more on Scarlett the songstress. Scarlett talks about her new album ‘Anywhere I Lay My Head’, working with David Bowie who sings back-up on two tracks, her musical influences, and on her being an actress, among other things. Of course, among other things include a few things about her boyfriend and soon-to-be hubby Ryan Reynolds.
“I wanted to be a Broadway star when I was 7,” she remembers. “I always loved to sing. But I couldn’t get any jobs, because my voice was so deep – I was this little blonde blue-eyed girl with baritone singing voice,” she lowers her voice to a Barry White-like growl, ‘Tomorrow! Tomorrow!” Then, laughing: “That was never really going to cut it.” Scarlett from her Nylon interview.
